Bring my TV Time
questions

Before you ask.

The essentials on TV Time shutting down and how to bring your story here.

Is TV Time really shutting down?
Yes. TV Time shuts down on July 15, 2026 — the company behind it (Whip Media) decided to change direction. After that date, the app leaves the App Store and Google Play, the tvtime.com website goes offline, and accounts are deleted. It's not a rumor: it's the company's own official announcement.
What happens to my data on July 15?
It gets deleted for good. After July 15, 2026, all personal TV Time account data will be erased — episode history, ratings, lists, everything. There's no recovering it afterward, which is why it's worth downloading your export while TV Time is still online.
How do I migrate from TV Time to Episodary?
Two steps: first, download your official export from TV Time's own portal at gdpr.tvtime.com/gdpr/self-service (sign in and wait for the ZIP to be ready). Then just bring that ZIP to Episodary — we handle the rest. Your shows, movies, watched episodes, and hours arrive intact.
Is it safe to upload my TV Time file?
Yes. Your ZIP is kept in private, encrypted storage, and we never open or read its contents at upload — the file is only processed when you start the import. We comply with GDPR and Brazil's LGPD: you consent before uploading and can request deletion of the file at any time.
Is Episodary free?
Yes, the essentials are free — and they're staying that way. Bringing your TV Time, tracking unlimited shows and movies, checking off episodes, getting new-episode alerts, and joining the community: all free. Anyone who wants superpowers has Plus (R$99/year) and Pro (R$219/year).
What is Episodary?
Episodary is the social home for people who follow shows and movies — the emotional successor to TV Time. You check off what you watch, discover what to watch next, react to every episode with a spoiler-free community, and turn your screen time into stats, badges, and year-in-review recaps.
Does it work with anime, reality TV, and movies?
Yes. The catalog covers shows, anime, reality TV, documentaries, and movies, with data from TMDB and TheTVDB — the same sources behind the world's biggest trackers, with broad international coverage.
Can I export or delete my data later?
Yes, always. Your story is yours: you can export everything you've tracked, rated, and written at any time, on any plan — and request full deletion of your account and files whenever you want. Nobody gets locked in here; that's exactly the lesson TV Time's shutdown taught us.
Do I need to download my export now, or can it wait?
Download it now. The export can only be generated while TV Time is online — until July 15, 2026. After that, anyone without the file loses their history for good. If your ZIP is already downloaded, you can upload it today: we'll keep it safe and import it whenever you're ready.

July 15 is the end of
TV Time. Not of
your story.

Two minutes today saves ten years of episodes. And if you ever change your mind, your data leaves with you — the door opens both ways.
